John Fleming

For over 20 years, John Fleming has led technology initiatives for K–12 schools, early learning centers, and nonprofits across the East Coast. As founder of K12.IT (est. 2004), he has designed and continues to managed IT systems for underserved schools in Philadelphia, Trenton, Washington D.C., and beyond.

For over 20 years, John Fleming has led technology initiatives for K–12 schools, early learning centers, and nonprofits across the East Coast. As founder of K12.IT (est. 2004), he has designed and continues to managed IT systems for underserved schools in Philadelphia, Trenton, Washington D.C., and beyond.

In 2012, he launched HopDial Phone Systems, now operating nationwide, integrating telecom with mass notification and access control systems. Earlier in his career, John oversaw mission-critical communications infrastructure for agencies including the U.S. Army (base-level emergency systems), Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, Philadelphia Police and Fire, and D.C.’s Metropolitan Police.

He is a 2014 graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and remains deeply rooted in service as a certified firefighter/EMT and Financial Secretary of Wyndmoor Hose Co. No. 1. John also serves on the board of ABAIE, FACCTC, supports Tree House Books and other community-focused groups including the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce and Operation Community Cares.
